3.8 - practice persuasion - 30 pts

The assignment that i have in front o me right now is to decide which one o these ethos, logos or pathos would be better suited for persuading your supervisor to choose your team to do the new sales campaign.

This was and still is a kinda hard decision to make because it can go two different ways. This is because ethos and logos are very close in relation.

But i think I am going to choose logos I think because logos is backed by evidence and reason. Most bosses look for someone who has a history or doing good and and working hard, and so on. But then again that helps ethos stand out as which one to choose because ethos is an argument based on characteristics. And most bosses like to choose people with good character.

So as you can see this is a tough decision to make and at this time I'm gonna have to say a mixture between both. I know for sure that i wouldn't choose pathos because that is an emotional based argument and i think that this type of argument is inappropriate.

This is an excellent analysis. A supervisor considers both your ethos based on past observation and the impact of your logos, with ethos being of primary importance.
